Jalandhar February 16 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar always encourage and motivate its students to participate in sports along with academic and cultural development. Sarthak Gupta, a student of B.Com second semester, representing the state in ‘Kheda Watan Punjab Diya, Under 21 Badminton Championship held in Barnala, came third and won the bronze medal.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra while congratulating Sarthak Gupta said that he should practice more so that he can do even better in future. Dr. Dhingra also advised him to focus on studies as well along with sports and become an achiever in both the fields and make the college and his parents proud. She also appreciated the efforts of Mr. Sahil Mahay of Department of Physical Education for guiding Sarthak and asked him to keep up with the good work.
