Jalandhar November 23 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- In a commendable effort towards community welfare, the Inner Wheel Club of Jalandhar District, under the leadership of President Dr. Harjinder Kaur, has undertaken the “Shady Tree and Flower Plantation” project at the Chotti Baradari community ground. Club member Ms. Manjula Sood’s generous donation has significantly contributed to this noble cause.
The initiative involves planting trees and aims to enhance the environmental aesthetics of the ground. The club expresses gratitude to its dedicated members, including Mrs. Kalsi, Mrs. Pooja Sani, Mrs. Hardeep, Mrs. Manjula, and Dr. Harjinder Kaur, who actively participated in the event.
In another noteworthy endeavor, Mrs. Amanjot, an honorable club member, delivered an insightful lecture at GHS Raipur Rasulpur school.
The lecture covered the significance of Laxmi Puja, Vishwakarma Puja, and the importance of seeking blessings for a successful life. Approximately 150 students from 6th to 10th standard actively engaged in this educational initiative.
To conclude the event, food and sweets were distributed among the participating children, adding a festive touch to the occasion. The Wheel Club is proud to invest a substantial amount in this project, reflecting its commitment to community development.
