Jalandhar February 17 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- 5 students of Department of Computer Science and IT of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar – Jannat Kaur and Naveen Kaur of B.Voc Data Science 5th Sem and Vanshika Gupta, Aarush Sharma and Arun Gupta of BCA 5th Sem participated in a workshop on Machine Learning, Data Science and Python organized by the joint efforts of IIT, Roorkee and Remark Skill Education.
In this workshop, students were introduced with the concept of Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms and its application and techniques of Deep Learning, Turing Test, Data Analytics, Python Programming, Data Visualization and Machine Learning.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated students for attending workshop on important topics at IIT Roorkee and motivated and encouraged them to participate in such workshops and programmes in future too. She emphasized classroom teaching is never enough for the all- round development and Apeejay always ensures that students get enough platforms to explore their potential.
She added that such workshops also help students in research-based projects. She appreciated the efforts of Dr. Rupali Sood, Head, Department of Computer Science and Ms Harpreet Kaur for guiding the students.
