Jalandhar February 16 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar launched Campus Radio ‘Udaan’.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra did the inauguration and said that the name ‘Udaan’ is based on college’s tagline i.e. ‘Soaring high is my nature’ through which students can take a new flight of success every moment. She added that the campus radio ‘Udaan’ will acquaint the students with all the activities happening in the college from time to time and also give the students and teachers to unleash their talent and can open the path for them to be RJs on campus.
This will surely boost their confidence and the students can channelise their energy in productive way. Not only the students of Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication, but any student and teacher of the college can be on the radio and showcase their talent on Campus Radio Udaan. She appreciated the efforts of the teachers of Bachelor in Journalism and Mass Communication department – Ms. Nivedita Khosla and Ms. Surbhi Tandon for successfully inaugurating the campus radio ‘Udaan’.
