Apeejay College of Fine Arts celebrated 8th International Yoga Day

Jalandhar June 21 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts Jalandhar celebrated 8th International Yoga Day as Yoga for Humanity. Dr. Rajni Sharma, English and Life Skills Trainer, District Coordinator of Sri Sri Yoga and faculty of Art of Living was the Resource person of the day. Under her instructions, faculty and students of Skill Development Classes performed asanas. Addressing them, Dr. Sharma discussed the benefits of yoga and said it makes the body more flexible which the gym can’t help with. She also added that yoga is beneficial not only for the physical fitness but it plays a major role in achieving spiritual bliss and positivity.

Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal ACFA added that in the competitive era we are the part of today, yoga can help us attain peace as it targets body, mind and soul collectively. Dr. Simkee Dev, NSS Dean expressed her gratitude towards Dr. Rajni Sharma for sparing her precious time and connecting every one with Yoga.
