In the class, the students along with nurturing the hidden talent of cooking within themselves not only learned about cooking delicious and healthy food but also gained knowledge about the art of presenting it artistically on the dining table.
In these classes, the students were taught that the basic mantra of cooking is learning about maintaining the food’s nutritional value along with maintaining it’s taste.
The students also learned about preparing various state-specific dishes, got tips for making appetizing street food and further gained knowledge about the recipes of quick and instant salads, sweets and snacks.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra said that the purpose of conducting these cooking classes was to make the young generation acquainted with different types of cuisines of India because food is also an integral part of our culture.
The principal praised the efforts of Ms. Monika Anand who taught the students with hard-work, diligence and dedication.
