Jalandhar April 24 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar held Farewell Party – Shubhashish 2024 for all the Final year students. Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra was the Chief Guest of the day. Addressing the students, Dr. Dhingra said, “You are the real representatives of the name Apeejay and make sure you carry this name with you with grace and dignity. Always make your college and your parents proud and remember to give something back to the society and do something to make it a better place to live.” She also wished them luck for their future endeavors.
On this occasion, Nandini Bajaj, a student of B. Com Sem 4th welcomed her seniors on the behalf of everyone and Rajat Sharma(Head Boy) and Yashkiran (Head Girl) thanked everyone on the behalf of Final year students. They expressed their gratitude to Madam Principal and their teachers for always guiding them and helping them to grow and succeed at every step. They added that they will always cherish the time they had spent at Apeejay for it has been the golden period of their time and a second home.
A modelling session was done for the students of Final year
On this day, the performances like Contemporary Dance on Bollywood songs, Singing, Bhangra were done. A modelling session was done for the students of Final year which was the highlight of the event.
The event became successful when the witty and smooth compering was done Ms. Harvansh (College faculty), Mr. Mohit( College faculty) and the students – Nandini and Shobhna.
Samriddhi( B. COM Sem 6th) became Ms. Apeejay and Jivansh (B. COM Sem 6th) beacme Mr. Apeejay. Along with them, Chaaru (BCA Sem 6th) was honoured with the title Ms. Elegant, Pearl (B.Voc. Theater Sem 6th) as Ms.Cynosure, Yashkiran ( Ba Sem 6th) as Ms. Graceful, Utkarsh (B. Com. Sem 6th) as Mr. Handsome, Piyush (B. COM Sem 6th) as Mr. Debonair, and Jot Parkash(B. COM Sem 6th) (Male) and Pallak (MA Dance Sem 4th) (Female) as Best Dressed.
All these students were honoured with gifts and sashes.
Dr. Dhingra acknowledged the efforts of Ms. Garima and Dr. Simkee for organizing the progmme successfully.
