Apeejay College of Fine Arts inaugurated the exhibition

Jalandhar November 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The PG Department of Applied Art of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar inaugurated the exhibition ‘Visual Gatha: the Foto Stories’. The exhibition of photographs consist the pictures clicked by the students and faculty of Department of Applied Art on different occasions and themes. Mr. Alok Sondhi, Managing Director, PKF Finance Limited was present as the Chief Guest at the exhibition. Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra warmly welcomed Mr. Alok Sondhi and Dr. Sucharita Sharma, Director, Apeejay Education Society Sharma and said, “Your arrival will definitely encourage and inspire our students to put their best foot forward.”

Expressing his views about the exhibition of photography, Mr. Alok Sondhi said,” Taking a good photo is an art and any good photograph not only expresses the things on surface level but also reflects the inner moods and a successful photographer is the one who is able to achive this. He was joyous to see the various subjects of photography varying from nature, humans, antique monuments and famous persons of history and their passion of photography could be seen in the photographs taken by them of ordinary people in the streets.

Mr. Alok Sondhi was so overwhelmed to see the vision and deep understanding of students and faculty members reflected in their photos. He added patience is the key element to pursue this skill and ACFA never lags behind to provide multiple opportunities to people to explore and channelise their talent.

Mr. Anil Gupta, Head, Department of Applied Art shared that this photography exhibition will run from 3rd to 5th November from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm in Virsa Vihar, Jalandhar. On the grand success of the ‘Visual Gatha The Foto Stories’, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra appreciated the efforts of Mr. Anil Gupta, Mr. Basudev Biswas, Mr. Vikram Singh, Mr. Rajesh Kalsi, Mr. Manoj Kumar, Ms. Anupreet and Ms.Apoorva Sharma and encouraged and motivated to keep doing such good work in future also.
