Jalandhar December 2 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised a Capacity Building Programme for the faculty members to acquaint them with importance of NAAC and NEP. The Resource Person of the day was Dr. Sunit of Department of English. She acquainted the faculty with objectives, 7 criteria’s of NAAC, getting accreditations from NAAC.
She emphasized the role of motovated staff in fostering the growth of institution and taking it to the greater heights and how Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) acts as a ladder to upgrade the profile of the institution. The detailed lecture was followed by interaction session.
Principal Dr. NeerjaDhingra expressing her views said that institution is known for the quality education it provides and the expert and well-qualified teachers it has.
In these current times, it is essential for the staff members to not just be limited to the classroom teaching but also upgrade their knowledge about the higher educational bodies like NAAC, UGC etc. She added ACFA has always been in sync with the rules and regulations laid out by NEP. She also appreciated the efforts of Ms. Meera Aggarwal for successfully organizing the FDP programme.
