
Jalandhar March 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The students of PG Department of Applied Art of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar visited Hoshiarpur Heritage Craft Fair. Expressing her views on this occasion, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra said that to explain the nuances of art to the students associated with the field of fine arts is crucial and to expand their knowledge and understand the forms of contemporary art, Apeejay never lags behind to provide opportunities to its students in order to provide them the required exposure.
Under the guidance of Mr. Rajesh Kalsi of Department of Design and Ms Anupreet of Applied Art Department, the enthusiasm of the students at the Hoshiarpur Heritage Craft Fair was visible. The students also visited Dabbi bazaar, the craft market of Hoshiarpur, where they learnt the nuances of Meenakari technique on wood. 31 students of MFA and BFA sharing their experience about this educational trip said that it was an unforgettable experience for them.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra appreciated the efforts of Mr. Anil Gupta, Head, Department of Applied Art for successfully organizing the craft fair and encouraged the students to do such activities in future also.
