Students visited to local Market Producers, Dealers and Wholesalers along with Faculty Member Ms. Harpreet Kaur. Students interacted, interviewed and analyzed interior design Materials like Laminates, Plywood, Polishes and Finishes, Furnishings, Floor Coverings, Hardware and Accessories.
Renowned Dealers, Suppliers and Manufacturers were visited during the survey like Century Laminates, JB Furnishings and Fancy Hardware. Students got Information About Types of Laminates, Types of Plywood’s and its sizes and costs, latest Designs of Furnishings and Floor coverings, Latest Designs of Hardware Fittings, Usage of Laminate Tapes, Sizes of Nails and Fasteners, Material used in Curtains, Style and design of curtain material with price details. Information was very fruitful for students to understand currents design possibilities of market in Interior world. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of Department.
