Jalandhar May 4 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Department of Cosmetology of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar organised a National Seminar on “Impact of Super Food on Beauty” The Speaker of the day was Mrs. Vinita Mehta, Clinical Dietician from Nagpur. She has worked with Prestigio Hospital, PGI Chandigarh, Apollo Hospital, Bilaspur and MMI Hospital, Raipur.
She is currently running her own Nutri Bliss Multispecialty Diet and Health Clinic. She maintained that mindful eating, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are the key ‘mantras’ for fitness. She elaborated her discourse on super foods like vitamin E, Vitamin C and illustrated ways to improve skin and hair. Students of different streams attended the webinar.
President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Prof (Dr.) Pooja Prashar applauded the efforts of the department for successfully organising the event.
