Jalandhar July 4 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar has been selected as a member of the Syndicate by Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar has an important place in the field of higher education and has been awarded with A+ + grade by NAAC.
Dr. Dhingra has already been a member of the Senate of the University. She has been bestowed the responsibility of being a member of the Syndicate considering her contribution in the field of education and for her efficient and flawless role as a Principal for the past 9 years. Her leadership skills and farsightedness are par excellence ; which she has exercised for giving guidance in various fields like Music, Dance, Design, Theatre, Fine Arts, Commerce and Management and Computer etc.
It is noteworthy to mention that Syndicate is the executive body of the University in which important decisions are taken related to academic, administrative and economic matters related to the University. Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressed her gratitude to Vice Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu and said that he has infused positive energy in her by giving her this opportunity and she’ll surely put her best foot forward to live up to the expectations and fulfill the responsibilities efficiently.
