Jalandhar April 24 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized Farewell-2023 Kabhi Alvida Na kehna for the outgoing UG and PG students of Humanities and Skilled Courses amidst their tears and cheers. The event was expertly co-ordinated by Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda, Dr. Veena Arora and Dr. Neeru Bharti Sharma. The organizers extended a green welcome to the vivacious, Woman of Substance, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen as the Chief Guest of the occasion. The farewell began with the pious lighting of lamp and recital of DAV Gaan.

Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen conveyed best wishes for the success of the students hailing them all as the guests of eminence for the occasion. She called them an inseparable part of the institution and contributors towards the glorious history of HMV. They being the brand ambassadors of the institution should try to give their best and become an asset to the society. She told that discarding negative thoughts and keeping only good memories in mind is the key to a happy life. She congratulated the organizers and Dean Student Council for the successful conduct of the show.

The students gave their zestful performance in the form of songs, dances and expressive speeches. The colourful bash was anchored by Mrs. Protima, Sukhman, Prachi, Kriti and Shayna. The fascinating modeling round was judged by Mrs. Lovleen Kaur, Dr. Jiwan Devi and Dr. Sandeep Kaur. The vivacious winners of the rounds were- Ms. Kavya as Ms. Farewell UG., Ms. Tarunika as 1st Runner Up U.G., Mr. Gurnaj as 2nd Runner up U.G., Ms. Isha Bahal as Ms. Creative, Ms. Kareena as Woman of Letters, Ms. Komal as Ms. Farewell PG, Ms. Raunika as HMV Ambassador and Ms. Divakshi as 1st Runner up PG.

They were presented with crowns, planters and gifts. The outgoing students passed on the ‘Light of Knowledge’ to the second year students. Mrs. Navroop, Dr. Mamta. Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Dr. Ashmeen, Dr. Shallu Batra, Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Dr. Rakhi Mehta, Mrs. Alka, Dr. Baljinder Singh, Dr. Meenu Talwar and all the faculty members of Humanities and Skilled courses were present on the occasion. Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda presented vote of thanks to conclude the event.
