Four Star Rating for IIC at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalya

Jalandhar December 22 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar won Four Gold Star – the highest rating given to higher education institutions in the National IIC ranking 2021-22. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that it is a matter of great honour and happiness that HMV has secured the highest rank position among the educational institutes of India for the second year in a row. She further said that these rankings are results of focused activities undertaken by the Institute around the year to nurture a culture of innovation within.

The rankings were released by Union Minister of State for Education Sh. Subhas Sarkar. The certificate said: “The council had undertaken various activities prescribed by Innovation Cell, under the Union Ministry of Education, to promote innovation and start-ups during the IIC calendar year 2021-22.” The primary goal of the HMV Innovation Council, which is made up of students and educators, is to support, inspire, and motivate young students. IIC at HMV has made rapid progress since its inception, and it has now reached the top.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development’s elite standards have been met by HMV_IIC. This was made possible by the HMV-IIC team’s concerted and devoted efforts and their goal of inspiring students to become entrepreneurs. The Innovation Cell at HMV aims to support and encourage students on their journey toward entrepreneurship and innovation culture.

Chairman Local Committee Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud also congratulated Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and staff members. He said that HMV has always proved that it is the best institution and HMV will continue this tradition. The delighted Principal congratulated Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dean, Innovations and Research and Incharge, HMV-IIC and the entire team of HMV-IIC for their tireless efforts and dedication. She also thanked the mentors from DAVCMC, New Delhi for the perennial support and motivation.
