Jalandhar April 2 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Passionately following the ideals of Arya Samaj, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar celebrated the anniversary of the Foundation Day of Arya Samaj under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The members of teaching and non-teaching chanted the mantras in the holy Yajna and prayed for the well being of the institution and HMV family. The premises resonated with the pious notes and became fragrant with the pure offerings in to the holy fire, thus linking the human to the divine. The blessed day also marks the beginning of new year of Bikrami Samvat, International Children’s Day, beginning of New Financial Year along with Navratras.
Showering her blessings, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen elaborated on the vision and mission of Arya Samaj founded by Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ji. It started as a reform movement to free Hindu Society from blind beliefs and corrupt practices, promoting Vedic Values and oneness of humans. She urged women to use their capabilities and talents for the betterment of the society.
She congratulated all for the glorious A++ grade, HMV got in the third cycle of NAAC accreditation and said that it takes strenuous efforts to be the pioneers. She thanked Dean Vedic Values, Mrs. Mamta and Dr. Meenu Talwar, Head Sanskrit Department for organizing the event. She also conveyed wishes to members whose birthday falls in the month of April. Superintendents Mr. Pankaj Jyoti, Mr. Lakhwinder Singh and Mr. Ravi Maini presented thought for the day with good wishes for the institution.

Mr. Ravi Maini remarked that achieving the highest grade and score not only marks the victory but HMV also created history in the context of the difficulties it underwent due to lockdown. Mr. Ajay from the supporting staff presented his noble thought that we get respect for being associated with the glorious institution so it’s our duty show same respect to the institution as well.
After that the HMV Collegiate School Prospectus was released by Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen along with School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal, Dr. Seema Marwaha, Mr. Sushil Kumar, Mrs. Lovleen Kaur, Mr. Pankaj Jyoti, Mr. Lakhwinder Singh, Mr. Ravi Maini and Ms. Richa. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen conveyed special thanks to Mrs. Jaspreet who fulfilled her commitment to complete the prospectus though she didn’t join HMV this session. Mrs. Mamta Presented the vote of thanks and the event concluded with the recital of Shanti Path. A Poster Making Competition Prayas was also organized on the occasion.
