
Jalandhar September 13 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- HMV Innovation Council attended the inaugural session of the historic milestone India created by hosting the 18th G20 Summit, held at the prestigious Bharat Mandapam Convention Center in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on September 9, 2023. The summit attended by world leaders, including US President Joe Biden, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron, Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed Bin Salman, and Japan’s Fumio Kishida, among others, was a momentous event, underscoring India’s growing prominence on the global stage.
During the inaugural session, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, along with leaders from Singapore, Bangladesh, Italy, USA, Brazil, Argentina, Mauritius and the UAE, unveiled the Global Biofuel Alliance, a significant initiative aimed at advancing sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solutions. Prime Minister Modi expressed confidence that the New Delhi G20 Summit would pave the way for a more human-centric and inclusive approach to global development. He emphasized India’s commitment to addressing the concerns of the Global South and the importance of emulating Mahatma Gandhi’s mission of serving the underprivileged.
One of the key highlights of the summit was Prime Minister Modi’s leadership in chairing sessions on ‘One Earth,’ ‘One Family,’ and ‘One Future.’ These discussions covered a wide range of critical issues of global importance, including strong, sustainable, inclusive, and balanced economic growth. In addition to the plenary sessions, Prime Minister Modi engaged in bilateral meetings with several world leaders and Heads of Delegation to strengthen international friendships and cooperation.
