Jalandhar June 23 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Fine Arts Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized the Annual Art Exhibition under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs) Ajay Sareen to promote the creative works of the students and introduce themselves professionally to the public. The Exhibition was inaugurated by Mrs. Navroop Kaur, Dean Youth Welfare, Dr. Ashmeen Kaur, Coordinator IQAC and Dr. Seema Marwaha, Dean Academics. The Exhibition titled as ‘Acrylic on Canvas’ hinged on unique and dynamic themes and displayed the artistic creations of BFA students. Km. Sujata Bharti displayed her Painting titled “Hold” which was an evocative description of the consequences of the technology on our lives. The metaphoric bleeding of organs depicted a call to take a pause from the mechanical world. Km. Muskan Kaur’s abstract “Face” exhibited various forms and shapes in shades of black. Km.Vrishti Gill’s painting “Safar” used objects of daily routine to highlight the importance of minor things in life. Km. Parul and Km. Manpreet represented different aspects of women’s life in their titles “Blooming” and “Women labour”. Kanishka’s painting “Spirituality” was a plea to restore the human connection with the divine. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs) Ajay Sareen conveyed her best wishes to the students and appreciated their efforts and enthusiasm. She remarked that art exhibitions helps bring essence and emotions before the public to admire and understand the subtleties of life. The splendid exhibition won huge praise from the spectators which came as a motivation for the budding artists. Dr. Neeru Bharti Sharma, Dr. Shailender Kumar and Mr. Jitendra M.Throat were also present on the occasion.
