Jalandhar April 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized a five day education cum excursion trip for the students of various streams to Manali, Himachal Pradesh. The trip proved to be very educative and entertaining for the students. On the first day, the students were taken to the Hidimba Temple and enjoyed the natural beauty and then visited Tibetan Monastery and finally came to Mall road Manali for shopping.
Next day, the students were taken to the Atal Tunnel and Solang valley where they enjoyed the nature with snow fall and various adventures games. The students reached at river rafting point where they explore rafting and after that students were taken to ARR KAY Shawl industries, Kullu where they saw the manufacturing of Kullu shawl and did shopping too.
The trip was accompanied by Dr. Neeru Bharti HOD Fine art department, Dr Jatinder Kumar HOD Biotechnology department and Mr. Ravi Kumar Asst. Prof. Department of Zoology along with supporting staff Mr. Ravinder. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen told the students about the importance of such trips during student life. She said that such trips provide wonderful opportunity to learn and explore nature with element of fun. Dr.Jatinder said that it is a great learning experience for students of to go on such field trips.
