Organises Mathematical Rangoli Competition in Ganit Manthan- 2023
Jalandhar March 16 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) PG Department of Mathematics organised Mathematical Rangoli Competition in Ganit Manthan-2023 to celebrate International Day of Mathematics on the theme Application of Irrational Number Pi (π) in real life situations. It is an annual opportunity for math enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of Pi.Total 40 students of B.Sc (Hons.) Maths, B.Sc (Non-Medical), B.Sc (Hons.) Physics and M.Sc. (Mathematics) participated in the event with full zeal and enthusiasm.
The students beautifully designed the rangoli with mathematical concepts like Maths in Home, Archiroslope, Money Management, Pi in space andin Computer Science. Principal, Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the students fortheir innovative ideas in making mathematical rangoli and for exploring the world outside the classroom. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of PG Department of Mathematics for successfully organising the event.
