Simran Sharma secures the Student of the Year Award
Jalandhar February 15 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Collegiate Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar awarded the Star Achiever Award to the students of 10+2 who fetched laurels in academics and contributed immensely in other important activities and works. A special program was organized on this occasion in which Mr. Gursharan Singh, District Education Officer was the chief guest. Along with him, Mr. Rajeev Joshi, Deputy District Education Officer also graced the program as the Guest of Honour. Welcoming the guests, Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi inspired the students to achieve success by continuously moving forward in life with hard work, perseverance, discipline and honesty.
In his address, Mr. Gurusharan Singh highlighted the importance of education in creating a good society and also appreciated the continuous efforts made by Kanya Maha Vidyalaya to educate girls and making them self-reliant. In this award ceremony, students were honoured under various categories in which the Student of the Year Award was secured by Simran Sharma. Sargi was awarded the Writing Wizard and Best in Olympiads Award for the best writing. Radhika, Janvi and Priya were awarded for excellence in dance. Arshpreet and Shalini Mishra were awarded the Super Scientist Award for their excellent performance in Medical, while Harmanjot and Prabhdeep were honored with the Super Innovation Award for their outstanding performance in non-medical.
Kulpreet and Bhavya received Preservation Award and Maximum Library Visit Award
Kulpreet and Bhavya received Preservation Award and Maximum Library Visit Award for best in Humanities. Manmeet and Kashish from the Department of Commerce were awarded the Budding Entrepreneurs Award for their outstanding performance. For excellence in technology, Jasmeet and Jasmeet were honored with the Technology Neophyte Award. Stellar Performance Award for Best in Leadership went to Anushka while Best in N.C.C. Bhumi and Priyanka got the Brave Heart Award. Rajveer received the Melodious Voice Award in singing and Dimple washonoured with the Brainy Wizard for the category of Academic Star Award and Maximum Attendance Award. Along with this, Lovepreet also received the Brainy Wizard Award for the Academic Star Award category.
While Shreya and Harshita won the Doodle Master Award for their excellent performance in drawing and painting, at the same time Navdeep, a national level player who made her mark in sports was honoured with the Champion Award. Apart from this, Arzu received the Best Instrumentalist Award while Saniya bagged the Helping Hand Award for her outstanding contribution in social welfare work.

Maximum Attendance Award was given to Snehpreet, Diligent Student Award to Bhavya and Rehatpreet, Innovation Viz Award to Amritjot and Harman Bhullar for Creativity, Impeccable Student Award to Vanshika and Manveer for Excellence in Education, Remarkable Improvement Award to Anupreet and Jasdeep and Jannat werehonored with the Extra Mile Award for her brilliant performance in the Olympiads.
