Jalandhar February 2 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a one-day workshop on the topic Effective Communication Skills. The workshop was organised by the PG Department of English. Mrs. Anukiran Khanna participated in this workshop as a resource person. While addressing the students present in the workshop from various departments, Mrs. Anukiran explained the special importance of language and communication in presenting the feelings and at the same time informed everyone in detail about the present need of effective communication skills. She said that through good communication skills, any person can achieve his/her desired position in life while making his/her identity at the global level.
Along with this, highlighting the need and importance of communication skills at the workplace, she also answered various questions asked by the students in a very simple manner. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed her gratitude to the resource person for providing important information to the students related to the subject. She averred hat along with hard work, dedication and dedication, it is very important to have effective communication skills to achieve success in life.
Along with this, while talking about the positive efforts being made in this direction by the Department of English with certificate courses like Public Speaking and Content Writing, Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Head, PG Department of English and Dean, Department of Student Welfare for successfully organising the event.
