Sh. Chander Mohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal pays tribute to S. Prakash Singh Badalby remembering his visit to KMV
Jalandhar April 26 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) paid a heartfelt tribute to the former Chief Minister of Punjab S. Parkash Singh Badal on his demise. On this occasion, recalling the visit of Mr. Prakash Singh Badal to Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that during his visit to the KMV in the year 2001, he inaugurated IT block in the institution. She further maintained that Prakash Singh Badal had a special relationship with Kanya Maha Vidyalaya as his wife Late Smt. Surendar Kaur Badal and many other women of Mr Badal’s family werethe students of this iconic institution of women empowerment.
She further maintained that S. Prakash Singh Badal was a very popular, humble, charismatic, committed and dedicated leader who had endeared herself to the masses by his earthly appeal & connect. Being a people’s leader, he earnestly felt the need to assuage the sufferings of humanity and acted accordingly. An excellent orator that he was, he could touch the hearts of all by his sincere words.
The sudden demise of such a noted and acclaimed leader is indeed an irreparable loss for the nation and it was his popularity that he was elected the Chief Minister of Punjab 5 times during his political career. Shri Chander Mohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal and Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi on behalf of the whole fraternity of KMV paying tribute to the Mr. Badal said that his death in itself is the end of an era in politics.
