KMV’s NCC Cadet Vinakshi Choudhary represents Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh directorate in Inter Group Sports Shooting Competition 2023 at Chandigarh
Jalandhar May 8 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar (Autonomous) NCC cadet Vinakshi Choudhary brought laurels to the institution by attending Inter Battalion Jalandhar Group Sports Shooting Championship at Hoshiarpur where she excelled at every task marvelously and bagged silver medal for her performance. She was further selected for selection camps and she is the only cadet who got selected from 02 PB(G) BN NCC Jalandhar.
Moreover, she also attended PHHC and CHD Directorate Inter Group Sports Shooting Competition 2023 of 10 days at Chandigarh and also bagged bronze medal. It is important to mention that she has been further selected for training in Dte Sports shooting team for IDSSC (Inter Directorate sports Shooting Championship) -2023.
Principal Prof Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such trainings were a vital part of holistic education provided by KMV to the students. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Department of NCC for working zealously to come up with a variety of opportunities and activities everyday so that girls can emerge as the future leaders of the Nation. Commanding officer 2 Pb. (G) Bn. NCC Jalandhar Col. Narinder Toor congratulated the cadet for her excellent performance in the training camp.
