KMV’s NCC Cadets launch cleanliness drive by cleaning the statue of Shaheed-e-Azam S. Bhagat Singh

Jalandhar June 24 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) is an institution that is always drenched in the colour of patriotism. In a new initiative, K.M.V.’s NCC cadets cleaned the statue of Shaheed-e-Azam S. Bhagat Singh and the founder of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Lala Devraj ji installed in the college campus and paid arich tribute to these great personalities.

Under this cleanliness campaign organised under the encouraging guidance of Brig. IPS Bhalla, Group Commander Jalandhar Group Headquarters and Col. Narendra Toor, Commanding Officer 2 PbG Bn NCC, Jalandhar, the cadets raised awareness about the pollution caused by plastic, while unitedly raised their voice for its elimination.

Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi while addressing on the occasion averred that involving the younger generation in such social activities is to inculcate in them the feeling of becoming responsible and ideal citizens. She further maintained that during the whole academic session, the NCC cadets always take active part in various activities like cleaning and protection of public parks & blood donation etc.

She also informed that some villages have also been adopted by KMV under Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Mrs. Sufalika, Incharge, N.C.C. for mentoring and guiding the students.
