KMV’s NSS volunteers spread the message of green and clean environment by planting tree saplings

Jalandhar January 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a seven-day NSS in the college campus during which a tree plantation drive was organised on the second day of this camp. Under this drive, N.S.S. volunteers under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi planted trees in the Botanical Garden established in the college in order to spread the message of green and clean environment.

Addressing on the occasion, Madam Principal informed all the volunteers in detail about the problems arising out of pollution in the environment and about eliminating such problems by planting more and more trees and keeping the environment green. Along with this, while talking about the various works done by KMV for environmental protection, she also shared information about the green belts established in different parts of the city and villages adopted by the institution. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Ms. Ashima Sahni, NSS Programme Officer, Dr Sonik Bhatia, Mrs. Anand Prabha & Dr. Iqbal Singh for their brilliant efforts.
