Jalandhar March 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) from time to time keeps on organising various activities with the aim of showing the importance of sports in human life. In this series, a friendly staff cricket match was organised by the Department of Physical Education in which teaching and non-teaching staff members participated enthusiastically and displayed their spirit of sportsmanship. Batting first after winning the toss, the teaching staff team scored 90 runs in 15 overs while the non-teaching staff team achieved this target in just 12 overs and hoisted the flag of success.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the winning team members Mr. Manish Shukla, Mr. Shashi Mandal, Mr. Kundan, Mr. Aman Singh, Mr. Jatin, Mr. Saurabh Dogra, Mr. Rohit Mohan, Mr. Karan, Mr. Michael, Mr. Sunil and Mr. Ravi Kumar. Along with this, the members of the teaching staff team Dr. Jitendra pal, Dr. Sonik Bhatia, Dr. Pradeep Arora, Dr. Ravi Khurana, Dr. Nitin Khanna, Dr. Davinder Singh, Mr. Vikram Malhotra, Mr. Yogeshwar Hans, Mr. Jagmohan Singh, Mr. Lakhwinder Singh and Mr. Sachin were also lauded for their sports skills. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Department of Physical Education for successfully organising the match.
