Jalandhar April 9 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar added another shining jewel in its long list of achievements by organizing a cultural Fashion Show, ‘Miss-LKC-2022’ exclusively for female students. The remarkable occasion was witnessed by the presence of Mr. Vikrant Bangotra, IRS, Deputy Director at Enforcement Directorate, Jalandhar and his wife Mrs. Gagandeep Kaur Bhullar, Founder & CEO, Super Human Race Pvt. Ltd. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra, Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Dean Academic Affairs and Prof. Jaswinder Kaur, HOD Zoology & convenor) welcomed the dignitaries on behalf of the college with a bouquet of flowers.
Speaking on the occasion Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra reiterated the college’s commitment to enhance the potential of its women students in line with the advent of super fast media and technology. He added that such events would go a long way in fulfilling the vision mission of the college towards providing exposure to the students. The Chief Guest encouraged the students to participate in such vibrant and similarly exuberant extra co curricular activities for their all round development.
Aashmeen won the title of Miss LKC 2022
Girl students of the college enthusiastically participated in the aforementioned event and after a closely contested competition spread over three rounds, Aashmeen won the title of Miss LKC 2022 whereas Harpreet finished as the first runner up and Taniya occupied the final place on the winners podium whereas Kavita was adjudged as Miss Charming, Gurshandeep was adjudged Miss Confident and Vandana adjudged as Miss Fashionista.
Judgment duty for the same was performed by Mr. Jasmer Singh Dhatt, Founder and Chairman Director International Exclusive Beauty Pageant Miss World Punjaban, Ms. Shubhjeet Kaur and Nikheil & Rivendra Designer Label Jalandhar and Prof. Jaswinder Kaur Head Department of Zoology Convener of the event along with her team played a key role in successful conduct of the entire show. Stage on this occasion was managed by Dr. Upma Arora. The colorful program was also witnessed by the entire staff of the college.
