Jalandhar February 12 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The students of Mass Communication and Video Production Department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar visited Doordarshan Kendra. They were welcomed by Doordarshan Programme Producer Mr. Kewal Krishan. He told the students about the functioning and the programming of the Doordarshan. The students visited the Newsroom, Chroma Studio, Control Room and Editing Department.
The students were also given information about Pre-Production, Production and Post Production Process. Along with this the students also got an opportunity to watch the live music programme. How a programme is prepared and what things are kept in mind for preparing the programme were also explained. Doordarshan Director Mr. Anoop Khjuria informed the students about the job opportunity available in Doordarshan.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of the students and said the given exposure to the students is need of the art. On this occasion, faculty members Mrs. Rama Sharma, Head of the Department, Ms. Priyanka Jain and Ms. Priya were also present.
