7 Days NSS Camp inaugurated at HMV

Jalandhar December 24 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The NSS unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar inaugurated 7 day camp under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The whole camp is to organized under Unit Advisor Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Programme Officer Mrs. Veena Arora and Ms. Harmanu. During the first day of the camp, the Chief Guest was Ms. Ramanpreet Kaur, Coordinator Swachh Bharat Mission, Municipal Corporation.

The programme was started with DAV Gaan. NSS volunteers were encouraged through NSS Song. Ms. Ramanpreet Kaur was welcomed with Green Planter. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen gave her blessings to the volunteers that NSS unit encourages you to work selflessly for the society. The volunteers who are a part of this unit are contributing in the development of society.

Chief Guest Ms. Ramanpreet Kaur gave detailed information about Swachh Bharat Mission. She educated the volunteers about contributing in this mission. Unit Advisor Dr. Anjana Bhatia also motivated the volunteers to participate in this camp wholeheartedly. Programme Officer Mrs. Veena Arora also told them about the importance of such camps. Volunteers also visited the composting unit maintained by college in its campus only and gathered knowledge about it. On this occasion, Mrs. Pawan Kumari, Dr. Meenu Talwar, Ms. Manpreet Kaur and Ms. Pawandeep Kaur were also present.
