Jalandhar January 26 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The 74th Republic Day of India was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervour at PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar. The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar. This was accompanied by the rendition of National Anthem by students led by the college’s Music Department.
While highlighting the achievements of the college in her address on Republic Day, the Principal emphasized upon the quality education which would help in the development of the city and the country at large. She briefly discussed the issues that the nation is currently facing and urged everyone to unite and stand against them. The event was materialized by the efforts of the NCC And wing of the college. President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada and the worthy Principal congratulated the students and the faculty on this pious occasion.
