Jalandhar May 22 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Department of Mathematics of PCM S. D. College for Women, Jalandhar organised National Webinar on ‘Algebraic Graph Theory’. Dr. Roshan Sara Philipose, Assistant Professor in Mathematics, Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, Kerala was the resource person for the webinar. She started with an impressive introduction of the concept and explained the history of graph theory with suitable examples. The resource person also explained the concept of graph theory in context of linear algebra.
She also gave various real life examples related to graph theory. In the end, Mrs. Shveta Mahajan, Head, Department of Mathematics extended vote of thanks to the resource person and participants. Around 50 participants comprising students and faculty members of various institutions attended the webinar. President, Sh. Naresh Kumar Budhia ji, Senior Vice President Sh. Vinod Dada ji, other honorable members of the Management and worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar congratulated the Department for successfully organising a webinar.
