Jalandhar April 5 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar organized an Declamation Competition on the topic’ Drug Abuse & its Effects on the Social Fabric’ under the Buddy Program being run in the college as per the direction of the Govt. of Punjab and with the assistance of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college. Almost twelve students participated enthusiastically in the competition.
The purpose of this activity was to generate awareness among students against drug abuse. In this competition, Riya of B.A Semester VI got first, Blossom of B Sc (Non-Medical) Semester II bagged second and Pallvi of B.A Semester II grabbed third position. President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honourable members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal of the college Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar encouraged all the students to keep participating in these kind of activities and motivated them to keep spreading awareness in the society. The worthy Principal also lauded the efforts of the faculty managing college Buddy Program.
