PCM S.D. Collegiate Senior Secondary School for Girls celebrates International Children’s Day

Jalandhar November 15 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Commemorating the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Children’s Day was celebrated at PCM S.D. Collegiate Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar with great zeal and enthusiasm. Showcasing their talents in diverse fields, the girls of the school performed various activities such as Classical Dance, dances on Punjabi folk songs, Mono-Acting, poetry recitation, motivational Speeches and comic skit during the event. Addressing the students, Mrs. Monika Sharma of the Department of Computer Science, explained the significance of the Children’s Day. Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma ,in-Charge of the school, motivated the students to perform the duties assigned to them to their best of their abilities, study well, participate in sports and co-curricular activities and respect their teachers. The honourable members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Pooja Prashar praised the efforts of the in-charge of the school Mrs Sangeeta Sharma in organizing such events for the overall development of the students. The stage was skillfully managed by Mitanshi Sharma, Head Girl of the School.
