Jalandhar August 26 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- In order to encourage, inspire and nurture young students towards innovation and entrepreneurship, the Institution’s Innovative Council organized an Expert Session on ‘Innovation and Start -Up Ecosystem Enablers’. Around sixty seven students and faculty members participated enthusiastically. The resource person of the event was Mr. Shubham Tandon, CEO of ‘My Pahadi Dukan’. As a start-up enabler Mr. Shubham Tandon told his journey as to how he started up with just Rs 6000 and post then, he never looked back. Now he has reached the heights of success with his strong determination and patience.
Further, he explained the basics of startups, including its initiation, raising funds, legal and ethical aspects of startups. He also guided students about various Punjab Start Up institutions such as CIIF, IEDC, NABI , NIPER etc. He also emphasised upon the need to develop an entrepreneurial approach necessary for the growth and success of any business, an urgency to develop the appropriate research skills which should be inculcated in any individual to become good entrepreneurs. He also addressed the questions of the students.
The session served as a motivation and an encouragement for young minds who are aiming to become successful entrepreneurs. President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice- President Shri Vinod Dada, the honourable members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the Innovative Council for successfully organizing the event. It proved a fruitful session.
