Jalandhar November 13 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, members of the Central Association and Youth Club held Diwali celebration in the main campus as well as in the collegiate block of PCM SD College for Women. Our students illuminated the entire college premises through vibrant rangolis, picturesque and blazing diyas and other strikingly vivid decorations. The celebration commenced with ‘Ganesha’ and ‘Lakshami’ poojan to invoke the blessings for the students so that they may continue striving relentlessly towards academic excellence.
Prasad was distributed among the members of the staff and students. The entire institution bedecked in all its resplendence and irradiated grace and glory owing to the efforts put up by the head of department of Fine Arts and the students of Central Association. President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honorable members of the managing committee and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar acknowledged the endeavours of the department and the students and wished that they may embark onto a journey of unceasing learning. Supporting staff members of the institution were given gifts by the management and Principal.
