Jalandhar May 21 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM SD Senior Secondary Collegiate School, Jalandhar celebrated Mother’s Day with full zeal. The feelings of gratitude and love were expressed as a mark of respect for every mother, on the account of this great day, in various forms of expression and love as flowing flood of free emotions.Various Competitions such as Card Making, Poster Making, Planter Making with best out of waste for mother’s nature and enviornment etc were organized on the day.
The students expressed their feelings of true love, self care and sacrifice, devotion and dedication for the compassionate caring companion which left no heart untouched. The presiding judges for the competitions were Dr.Kuljit Kaur, Department of Commerce, Mrs.Divya Budhia, Department of Economics and Mrs.Shveta Mahajan, Department of Mathematics. President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honourable members of the Managing Committe and the worthy Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar congratulated the students for their avid participation.
Principal highlighted the role of a mother in every life as an embodiment of true, pure and sincere love that is never ending and constantly flowing for the well being of not only her child but each and every one who falls into the sphere of her life. She also praised the efforts of the in-charge of the school Mrs Sushma Sharma for the overall development of the students of the school by encouraging them to participate in such events.Mrs Monika Sharma, Mrs Ruhi, Mrs Deepika Ms Anita, Mrs Vadana and Ms Nisha were also present in the event.
