Jalandhar May 23 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Punjabi Department of PCM SD Senior Secondary Collegiate School organized a poetry recitation activity in which the students of class XI and XII participated with great enthusiasm. The main objective of this activity was to connect the students with Punjabi literature and enhance their talent. On this occasion, the students recited poems of famous Punjabi poets and also self-composed poems in a poetic manner with great confidence. In this Competition, Jasmine, Manhit, Vanshika and Sneha of +2 got first, second and third position respectively. Not only this, Nisha achieved a consolation prize.
At the same time, Tanushka, Diksha and Priyanka of +2 grabbed first, second and third position respectively. Tisha of +2 got consolation prize. President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada and other honorable members of the Management Committee and the worthy Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Parashar congratulated the students for their avid participation. She also appreciated the efforts being made by the Department of Punjabi to organize such events under the able direction of the in-charge of the school Mrs. Sushma Sharma.
