Jalandhar May 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya stands stalwart in every field and it always recognizes every little effort contributing towards it legendary glory. To appreciate the painstaking efforts of the supporting staff, the Student Council of HMV organized Prati Abhaar with a sense of gratitude towards them under the able command of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The Chief Guest of the occasion, Mr. Sudhir Sharma and Guest of Honour, Principal Rakesh Sharma received a green welcome from Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen. The event began with lighting of lamp and recital of DAV Anthem. Mrs. Urvashi Mishra, Dean Student Council, offered a formal welcome note to the guests.
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen in her address called the Supporting Staff as the backbone to the success of every event. Drawing an analogy she called the Management, the Teaching, the Non-Teaching, the Supporting Staff and collaborative stakeholders as the fingers and students as palm of the hand which all work in unison to complete the tasks. In admiration of their qualities, she said that the supporting staff inspire us to be passionate dedicated and friendly.

Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated the organizers for the wonderful effort. Chief Guest Mr. Sudhir Sharma was overwhelmed by the noble gesture initiated by HMV and offered monetary contributions for the conduct of the event. He also announced to award special gifts to the worker of the year. The show went vibrant with the performances in the form of songs, poems, dances and fun games. Mr. Ajay recited a thoughtful poem and Mr. Vikas sang a melodious song. Mrs. Sona, Mrs. Seema and Mrs Rajni staged a thumping dance performance.
The ramp walk of the participants was the special attraction and it was adjudged by Dr. Seema Khanna, Dr. Gagandeep, Mrs. Ritu Bajaj and Mr. Lakhwinder Singh. Special titles were awarded to Mrs. Seema, Mrs. Sona, Mrs. Rajni, Ms. Tanya, Mr. Ajay, Mr. Vikas, Mr. Vipin and Mr.Shiv Lal. They were presented with planters, gifts and crowns. Mr. Lakhwinder Singh presented the vote of thanks. The event ended with the recital of National Anthem. All the Deans, Heads of Departments, Faculty Incharges, Supdt. Admin Mr. Ravi Maini and Non-Teaching staff attended the event.
