Jalandhar March 10 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- In recognition of her extraordinary services in the field of education and outreach, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen was honoured by the department of Police Commissioner, Jalandhar. She received the honour from IPS officer Sh. Suhail Mir on the occasion of International Women Day celebrated by Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar in presence of Sh. Jaskiranjit Singh Teja, DCP, Invesigations and Smt. Amrit Singh, IAS, Chief administrator, JDA. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen was much appreciated for her extraordinary vision and leadership in making Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar the top ranked institution.
It was due to exemplary effort of Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen that HMV was given highest score by NAAC for third consecutive time. Dr. Ajay Sareen was also honoured by Edufeed for her extraordinary contribution in the field of education, social service, literature and innovations. Earlier, Dr. Ajay Sareen has received various national and international awards and accolades. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen said that HMV has always strived for women empowerment and is dedicated to the cause of women upliftment since 1927.
On this occasion, two students of HMV, Ms. Anjali from NCC and Ms. Gagandeep from Science stream were also honoured by Police Commissionerate for their achievements. Staff and students of HMV congratulated Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen on her award.
