Apeejayite Sukhman Singh achieves recognition for his books in Punjabi

Jalandhar June 20 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Sukhman Singh, student of Apeejay College of Fine Arts Jalandhar currently pursuing B. Design (Multimedia) Semester VI has brought laurels to his institute by writing and editing books in Punjabi, which are a compilation of essays, poems and stories. His book ‘Safar Zindagi Da, 2019’got ‘Best Book, 2019’ Award by Tare Bhalke De Baal Pratibha Manch, Patiala. He also got Mata Bhajan Kaur Nikkian Krumblan Award by Nikkian Krumblan, Mahilpur for his works. Another book published by him is ‘Duniya De Rang, 2020’.

He has edited Uchhiyan Manzilan De Raah, 2022 in which 16 writers have contributed their poems, articles and stories out of which three contributors are from Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar – Asst. Prof in Punjabi Dr. Raman Dadhra and students, Sachin Sharma and Bhavini. He has also designed the following books Pehla School tu chal, Chidi, Parhuani, Madhumakhiyan Da Eka, Punjabi Baal Both te Virsa, Baal Rasala Nikkiyan Krumbhla. Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra has lavished praise on Sukhman Singh for his extra ordinary achievement in Punjabi and wished him luck for a bright future in writing.
