Jalandhar May 1 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Research Committee of PCM SD College for Women Jalandhar organized a National Webinar on the topic “The Art of writing a Research Paper.” The Keynote Speaker was Dr Chakraverti Mahajan, Associate Professor, Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi. He has been teaching in Delhi since a decade and was Charles Wallace Fellow (2021-22) at the Queen’s University, Belfast, UK. Currently he is working on a research project funded by Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR).
Dr Mahajan was recently awarded with Professor M N Srinivas Memorial Prize (2022). Dr Renu Bala, Convenor of this webinar introduced the speaker. Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar accorded a warm welcome to the speaker. The speaker discussed the essential qualities of a good research paper, its outline as well as its components and how to get it published. He further clarified the queries asked by the participants.
The session was highly interactive and informative. Around sixty faculty members and students of various institutions participated in the webinar. Dr. Kuljeet Kaur, Convenor of the webinar extended vote of thanks to the resource person and the participants for organising the academic program. President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, members of the management and worthy Principal acknowledged the efforts of the Research Committee for successfully organising the event.
