Jalandhar June 18 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- S. Ramanujan Society of Mathematics of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organizes an inter class Group Discussion on the topic ‘Application of π’ to celebrate ‘π Day’ The main aim of the event was to raise awareness about the importance of mathematics and its role in shaping our world, as well as to promote the beauty and relevance of mathematics to a wider audience.
Students of B.A., B.Sc. (Non Med), B.Sc.(C.Sc.), B.Sc.(Eco) and B.A.B.Ed. Sem II, Sem IV and Sem VI expressed their views on application of π. President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Shri Vice – President Vinod Dada, the honourable members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the students for their avid participation. They also praised the efforts of the Department of Mathematics for encouraging the students to participate in such academic events.
