Jalandhar June 2 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The PG Department of Commerce and Management of PCM S.D. College for Women Jalandhar organized one month online/offline free Skill Oriented Course Tally ERP9/Tally Prime 2.1 (Accounting Software) from 28th April 2023 to 31st May 2023. These classes were organized for the students who have done SSC-II Commerce. Detailed knowledge about the Tally ERP9 software, Shortcut keys, Gateway of Tally Screen, Gateway of Tally Menu options was given.
The students were also explained the steps of company creation alteration and deletion of company, ledgers and voucher entries etc. The students were given hands on training on the preparation of Day Book, Trial Balance, Profit and loss Account, Balance Sheet and Ratios in Tally ERP 9 and Tally Prime which helps in instant generation of E-way bill and e-invoices.
The skill oriented course gave students hands on experience as to how they can make use of technology to prepare and maintain accounts on daily basis.
The one month skill oriented course was a fruitful and a learning experience for the students. The students were elated and enthusiastic to learn the practical application of accounting enteries and ledgers.
President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honorable members of the Management Committee and the worthy Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Parashar congratulated the PG Department of Commerce and Management for successfully organizing the course for the enhancement of students’ skills.
