Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts visited Mother Teressa Orphanage

Jalandhar October 23 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- On the occasion of Diwali, the students of the NSS wing of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar visited Mother Teressa Orphanage and spent time with the children there, entertained them and played various games with them. The children recited poems for which NSS students encouraged them. The students of NSS wing also gave them sweets, ration, chocolates, games and stationery items on the auspicious festive occasion.

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra while appreciating the efforts of the students of NSS wing said,“I am immensely happy to see our students who are sensitively and diligently performing their responsibilities towards society. Undoubtedly, the future of the country is bright when our youth is responsible enough. Such students also become a source of inspiration for other college students. “She appreciated the efforts of Dr. Simkee Dev, Dean, NSS Wing for guiding these students and encouraging them for such noble actions.
