Teacher’s Day celebrated in Innocent Hearts Group: Students expressed respect for their teachers

Jalandhar September 4 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- To mark the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the students of the five schools of Innocent Hearts Group (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt. Jandiala Road, Royal World and Kapurthala Road), Management College and Innocent Hearts College of Education, conveyed their gratitude towards teachers for their continuous guidance and support. They also expressed their thankfulness towards them through various activities under the theme ‘Teacher is my hero‘ reflecting their important role in shaping students’ life.

The students got the teachers cut cakes, made cards to thank them and wrote beautiful messages on them. Along with this, they presented their feelings in front of their teachers through singing, poetry, and dance-presentation. The little kids of Innokids put up badges for their teachers and presented cards to their teachers with lovely messages by their little hands. On this occasion, many activities and fun games were organized for the teachers, in which the teachers participated with great enthusiasm. Prizes were awarded to the winning teachers in fun games.

Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman, Innocent Hearts congratulated all the teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day and said that teachers are the architects of the society, who build an advanced society. Underlining the important contribution of teachers in the lives of students, he said that teachers have an important role in student’s life. Along with education, always being ready for the all-round development of the students should be the main goal of the teacher. All the teachers who ignite the light of knowledge in the students deserve praise and compliments.
