Jalandhar June 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar observed International Day against Drug abuse and illicit trafficking of drugs.
To mark this day, NSS Volunteers prepared posters to aware the people in general and the dire consequences of using drugs. The posters made by them were innovative and creative which would catch the attention of the reader and make them ponder on the content written on it. They also took the pledge saying no to drugs for the lifetime.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra on this occasion said that at Apeejay we not just provide quality education to the students but also ensure that they become a good and responsible citizen and give something back to the society. Here we ensure that the students develop such a personality that they become a good human being at the end of the day and put their best foot forward to end the evils prevalent in the society.
