Jalandhar May 12 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay college of Fine Arts, Jalandhar paid heartfelt tribute to the First Lady of the College Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul ji on her 11th death anniversary.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra, while paying tribute to Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul, said that she was keenly interested in Fine arts, and inspired from her, Dr. Satyapal ji had established Rajeshwari Kala Sangam to make all forms of art accessible to the general public and that very institution today has today flourished and touched heights in the form of Apeejay College which still plays an important role in the preservation and promotion of fine arts in today’s world. She added now her daughter Smt. Sushma Paul Berlia daughter, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University and President of Apeejay Education is further taking on this rich legacy and passing it on to the today’s youth.
In this prayer meeting, Dr. Vivek Verma paid homage to Mrs. Paul by singing hymns. All the faculty members offered flowers and prayed for the peace of the pious soul of Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul Ji.
