NSS wing of PCM S.D.College for Women organises a seven day camp for health protection of the villagers

Jalandhar January 19 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- A seven day camp for health protection of the villagers was organized in the Village Patara from December 22,2021 to December 28, 2021 by NSS wing of PCM S.D.College for Women, Jalandhar. About 450 volunteers participated in the camp. In the camp, the awareness was created among the villagers regarding their health and the masks were distributed among the villagers keeeping in mind the precautions of Covid -19.

The cleanliness campaign was also organized by the volunteers for the villagers. Under the camp, they were given awareness about keeping their surroundings clean. Villagers were also provided information related to nutritious food so that they can keep themselves healthy. The headman of the village Shri Satpal Bandhan congratulated and encouraged the volunteers for these activities.

The honourable members of the Managing committee and the worthy Principal of the college Dr.(Mrs.) Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of NCC wing for organizing the camp. This camp was organized under the direction of Program Officers Dr. Neelam Gupta, Mrs. Manmeet Kaur, Mrs. Sunita Bhalla and Mrs. Dilpreet Kaur.
