14th CT Half Marathon: A “Run for Unity”

Jalandhar March 9 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- CT Group of Institutions is once again geared up for its upcoming Race for Charity called the 14th CT Half Marathon 2023 “Run for Unity”. CT Half Marathon has been an incessant success over the last few years where an array of generations and professionals participate wholeheartedly. From sports persons to senior citizens to Olympians, artists, and players join in for the noble cause.

CT Half MarathonThis year, the race for charity will embark from CT Shahpur Campus and will culminate at CT Maqsudan Campus (distance of 21.6 Km). The marathon will receive participants from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, and other states, all running for the selfless cause of charity.

The flag-off ceremony will be performed by the renowned singer, Ravneet Singh, professional marathon runner, Shri Fauja Singh, State Secretary, Punjab, and Ms. Rajwinder Kaur Thaira at 7:00 am (Shahpur Campus) and Punjabi Singer Gurnam Bhullar Actress Sargun Mehta ,Khan saab ,KulbirJhinjer to End the race from CT Group of Institutions, North Campus.

Managing Director, of CT Group of Institutions, Dr. Manbir Singh said, “CT Half Marathon is a prestigious event which aims to raise funds for the deprived members of society from the last thirteen years. This year again we are working on the same grounds to continue this wonderful journey.

Chairman, of CT Group of Institutions, Charanjit Singh Channi said, “CT Half Marathon is one of the largest marathons organized by any educational institution across Punjab with the participation of people from all walks of life including celebrities, sports personalities, business tycoons and amateur athletes who participate in this event. Everyone should come up and be part of this race.”

The starry attraction of the event is the huge sum of cash prizes for the winners. The first prize is Rs. 25,000 (Male & Female both), the second prize is Rs. 11000 (Male & Female both), the third prize is Rs. 5,100 (Male & Female both), and 7 consolation prizes of Rs. 2100.
There will be first aid and other medical assistance for the runners by the students and staff members of the CT Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CTIPS) and doctors from renowned hospitals would also register their presence.
